Vandoren has developed the “13 series” mouthpiece specifically for American clarinettists using A440 pitch. Originally, four models were developed with specific facings to this series: the M13, M13 Lyre, M15 and M30 mouthpieces. The ''Profile 88'' beak profile gradient is more gentle than the traditional design, so allows the player greater flexibility of movement and position, and therefore enhanced comfort and articulation. Produces a compact, centred sound and is enhanced by the acoustic qualities of HD ebonite.
