Spend 30 minutes playing, asking questions and seeing whether the teacher and instrument feel right.
If you want to continue, we will agree your regular lesson time and help you get ready for lesson one.
The same standard lesson price applies across guitar, drums, piano, bass, vocals and saxophone. Longer lessons may also be available.
Guitar, piano, vocal, saxophone and bass lessons are available from age five. Drum lessons are available from age seven. A free taster helps us check that the instrument and lesson format are a good fit.
Not necessarily. Tell us what you need when booking and we will confirm what is available for your first visit.
No. Apollo welcomes children, teenagers and adults, including complete beginners and people returning to music.
The standard lesson is 30 minutes. Longer sessions may be available where they suit the learner and teacher timetable.
No. Exams can be a useful goal, but lessons can instead focus on songs, performance, bands, recording or simply enjoying the instrument.

Apollo is upstairs and currently has no step-free access or accessible toilet. Parking is limited beside the building. Please contact us before booking if you would like to discuss access or whether the venue will meet your needs.
