Hi my name is Martin, I am 69 years old, and at the start of this year finally decided to try and learn to play the guitar. From the first time I walked into Apollo music school l have been made to feel welcome. I was introduced to my guitar teacher Jazz. He has been brilliant with me, very patient and explains everything in language l can understand. If anyone is thinking about learning to play a instrument or sing give Apollo music school call you will not be disappointed. Martin

I have been having piano lessons with Gaby and even though I am a complete beginner, with no musical background whatsoever, I have learnt such a lot! Gaby is an excellent teacher and makes you feel capable and confident. Everyone at Apollo is friendly and welcoming and I would definitely recommend them.

Jazz is very good, patient and fun. He lets me choose the songs I want to learn on the guitar. He constantly checks finger and hand positions and gives me tips to get the barre chords ringing out. I really can see my progress. Everyone at Apollo are friendly and chatty, it's good fun and age is no barrier.

I have just started drumming in January 2026 and my experience with being here after such little time has been incredible and so beneficial to my knowledge as well as my mental health. I really look forward to coming and I have such an amazing drumming teacher that it doesn’t even feel like I’m in a lesson, would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to take up a new skill.
