Alex Rothwell
Managing Director
With over 15 years of experience in the education sector, Alex has taught on a 1 to 1 basis and has also worked in secondary schools across Yorkshire.

Ash Legg
Drums
Ash's mohawk tends to stick out in a crowd. He has wealth of experience performing in studio and live settings and has played with a vast variety of bands and genres through the years. He is well-versed in Rock, Pop, Funk and Metal drumming and brings unique enthusiasm when he performs. Ash has taught in multiple schools across the North of England and in his element working with young (and adult!) aspiring musicians.

Gabby Harris
Advanced Piano
With over 11 years of experience, Gabby is a classically trained pianist with extensive experience across multiple genres including pop and rock to musical theatre. Having performed in various settings, Gabby aims to bring both technical skill and real world experience to each lesson. Driven by a deep love for music Gabby’s goal is to pass on that passion, helping students to grow in confidence and find joy in their own musical journey.

Jake McBrinn
Guitar, Beginner Piano
Jake is one of our talented guitar teachers here at Apollo Music School, bringing both teaching experience and real-world performance knowledge to his lessons. As a former member of The Kites, Jake has spent years performing and developing his sound, giving him a strong understanding of what it takes to grow as a musician.
Friendly, approachable, and passionate about music, Jake works with students of all ages and abilities—whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to refine your technique and style.

Jazz Summers
Guitar
Jazz has been working in the music industry for the past 10 years, having a wealth of experience in recording music, teaching and performing a large variety of genres including blues, rock, country and funk on the function circuit (Ironically everything but Jazz!). Jazz takes an enthusiastic approach to teaching, wanting to build the skills and confidence of his students so they can enjoy playing music as much as he does.

Chris Garland
Bass Guitar
Chris has worked extensively within the music industry with experiences ranging from musical theatre to rock festivals and everything in between. He has been playing the bass guitar for the past 12 years and enjoys challenging himself by playing a wide set of genres and styles. Chris uses this experience when working closely with students to help them realise their musical goals, by applying technical skills to real world settings. This keeps lessons interesting and meaningful, whilst helping develop students into well rounded musicians.

Ella Muschamp
Vocals, Beginner Piano
Ella is a classically trained singer with extensive experience across various genres including pop and rock, musical theatre and jazz. Ella has performed in multiple different settings and aims to bring enjoyment and build confidence in lessons. Ella has a deep love for music and hopes to help others find joy in their own musical experiences.

Will Rickard
Drums
Guilty for tapping on any surface he can reach, Will is also formally trained in Jazz drums. Reflecting his diverse musical taste and background, he's adept in a wide range of genres including pop, rock, metal, and modern jazz fusion. With a variety of experience as a session musician (even extending to bass guitar), Will brings a professional and adaptable approach to every musical endeavour. He aims to equip students with practical skills and inspire them to explore their own musical passions, all while keeping enjoyment at the forefront.
